Bio
Growing up in France, Sylvie was always up for a challenge. Daring and curious, new paths intrigued her. She studied Literature/Arts and French as a Second Language in the universities of Lille and Grenoble (France). Then, fifteen years ago she set sail for New York City. At first she had no specific goal in mind, but a little voice inside said “this must be the place” – the place for her to explore, discover and blossom.
A hopeless optimist, she always felt that by working hard new doors would open. And after a lot of hard work and a lot of knocking, they did!
Over the last ten years, she landed voice-over projects for international clients such as the National September 11th Memorial Museum, Adidas, NYC Museum of Natural History, Bud Light, Disney’s Baby Einstein series, HSBC, Monster.fr, MTV and many others.
Sylvie’s range covers narration, promos, commercials, cartoon voices, e-learning, corporate presentations and more. Her versatile voice has been described as upbeat, expressive, charismatic, warm and soothing.
Whether it’s the voice of a little panda bear or a French Whoopi Goldberg, Sylvie opens herself up to each project as if it were a new adventure.
Fully bilingual, Sylvie records in both French and English. She can complete a project from start to finish, offering translation, recording, editing, proofreading, lip-synching and script adaptation.
From long-format narration to commercials, from dubbing to on-hold voice services, Sylvie’s extensive professional experience allows her to quickly adapt to your project and deliver your message with the best performance possible. This is the French voice talent you've been looking for!
In addition, she has performed in numerous animation series as an actor and she's also a freelance translator (cartoons, documentaries, etc.).
Sylvie is still up for a challenge... and always ready for more.
